I am pleased to announce the launch of a nationwide search for the Dean of the College of Information, Data, and Society, assisted by the executive search firm Isaacson, Miller. I invite interested candidates to apply through the firm’s platform.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic, collaborative leader with a forward-thinking approach to interdisciplinary education in a fast-paced and innovative environment. They will understand the future of information science, data analytics, and librarianship and foster larger interdisciplinary efforts on campus for the future of the region and beyond, developing strategies to meet the rapidly changing educational needs of students and communities. Qualifications:

  • Terminal degree in information science or related discipline
  • Record of teaching, research, and service that merits appointment as a tenured professor
  • Leadership experience at the department chair, director, associate dean, or dean level
  • Ability to foster a culture of philanthropy
