Dear Spartan Students,
I hope that you are well and safe! As you know, the semester at SJSU begins next week. The faculty have been preparing through an Online Summer Institute to deliver some amazing courses this fall, and the staff on campus are very excited to support all the activities and clubs that are such important parts of the SJSU experience.
I want to let you know that we have also created a resource center called Learn Anywhere for you to utilize throughout this academic year. This website provides a rich amount of information on preparing for your online courses this fall.
Highlights of information you can tap into from this resource center include:
- Different online learning environments you will encounter as well as the minimum technology needs for classes under Getting Started. Upcoming and pre-recorded workshops as well as a How-To page that contains links to Tutorials on all the core technologies you will use.
- Key Campus Resources as well as other information on online-learning and learning more generally.
We hope that you will take advantage of this website resource to prepare yourself for classes next week. Don’t hesitate to reach out to our community should you need any further assistance. We are all here to help make the transition to the fall semester as smooth as possible!
Sincerely,
Dr. Vincent J Del Casino Jr.
