In this workshop, we will explore and identify the participants' strengths and areas of growth that exist within our Latina culture, families and self identity. Using Tara J. Yosso's "Community Cultural Wealth" model, we will identify the "wealth" that already exists and how we can use it to further achieve one's goals and create a "reframe" to overcome possible challenges to our academic success.
