Mental Health

ThrivingCampus

ThrivingCampus is a nationwide online directory that helps SJSU students access off-campus mental health care more easily.

Jed Foundation | Mental Health Resource Center

The Jed Foundation’s Mental Health Resource Center provides essential information about common emotional health issues and shows teens and young adults how they can support one another, overcome challenges, and make a successful transition to adulthood.

Peers in PRIDE

Why navigate SJSU alone when a Peer Mentor can help? Peers in PRIDE is a free mentorship program designed to bridge the gap for incoming LGBTQI students. We provide individual support and resources to undergraduate, graduate, and non-traditional students.

Would you like to:

  • Get connected to the LGBTQI Community at SJSU?
  • Get confidential support?
  • Get linked to resources available to you?
  • Make new friends?

For questions or to request more information, contact Stephanie Preston at stephanie.preston@sjsu.edu or drop by the PRIDE Center.

C.A.L.M.

C.A.L.M. (Calming Anxiety, Living Mindfully) is a program designed at SJSU to help you effectively manage anxiety. This includes reducing anxiety-related limitations and suffering, and increasing awareness and self-compassion. The workshop is offered every semester and the C.A.L.M. manual can be used as a resource to read through to learn more about helpful facts, concepts, and skills.
