Areas of Special Interests:

Immigrants, Muslim-identified and BIPOC individuals, first-generation students, advocacy for marginalized communities, substance use, identity development, identity development, acculturation, enculturation, health conditions, CPTSD, anxiety, phobia, OCD, and trauma.

Theoretical Orientation:

Integrative, culturally humble, and relational therapeutic style with a focus on person-centered approach while focusing on systemic issues. Use different modalities including mostly third-wave CBT, ACT, DBT, EET, EMDR, ART, CPT, exposure-based interventions, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and family systems.
