Moving Services

Looking to request relocation of office or work spaces and equipment? FD&O moving services are sorted into two categories:

  • Project-related moves: moving required by renovation or construction. This is initiated and managed by an FD&O project manager, not by the impacted department or unit.
  • Non-project moves: moving that is desired by a department or unit, e.g. office or work space changes, equipment or furniture moving, etc. This type of move follows the process below.

Any and all non-project related moving should be budgeted and paid for by the requesting entity. Most moving services are managed by FD&O but contracted to external moving providers. Requesting entities should have moves budgeted for before any services can be rendered.

Moving requests are typically processed within two (2) to three (3) weeks. Take note of this time prior to contacting the Customer Service Desk for updates by phone immediately after submitting a request online.

  1. Submit a non-project related moving request on WebTMA.
  2. Contact Information Technology to coordinate the relocation of phones and data lines.
