Grounds and Landscaping
Grounds and Landscape Services maintains over 154 acres of landscaped grounds and sports fields at all campus sites. This FDO division is comprised of craftspeople ranging from gardener specialists, grounds workers, irrigation specialists and heavy equipment operators.
Grounds and Landscaping staff work year-roundto maintain a clean, safe, and attractive landscape by providing daily trash and litter pickup, tree and shrub trimming (of which, 180 species exists on campus sites), lawn maintenance, weed abatement, and planting of annual colors to enhance the aesthetics of the campus landscape. Irrigation on campus makes effecient use of domestic and reclaimed water in the university's ongoing effort to maintain sustainability.
