Environmental Technician (NWS 00767)
North Wind Services is actively seeking individuals who can contribute to national security within the science, technology, and engineering fields as part of their supplemental labor team at vital federal research and development installations supporting the Department of Energy. Qualified applicants must be a US citizen, at least 18 years of age, and able to meet pre-employment requirements including any required physicals, drug screen, and/or background investigation to satisfy clearance requirements from the Department of Energy. The Environmental Technician is responsible for implementing and maintaining regulatory requirements relating to the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) and Department of Transportation (DOT). In this role you will work with engineers and technicians daily to ensure that their manufacturing campus and west coast recovery operations can support SpaceX goals while meeting all environmental objectives and regulatory requirements. Student PIRGs is hiring Campaigners to organize events across the country, calling for bold action to protect the environment and public health. Selected candidates will work with college campuses alongside passionate student activists, and will help them develop and run strategic campaigns around protecting the environment like Saving the Right Whales, Protecting Public Lands, and Saving the Bees. This is a short-term (3-4 months) position to learn the ropes of organizing on important issues and are passionate about training the next generation of student leaders.

Sustainability Coordinator
Green Corps offers a yearlong, paid training program that gives training and experience needed to kickstart an organizing career while making an immediate impact on critical environmental issues, from saving last wild places, to protecting oceans, to reducing climate change pollution. The Green Corps Organizer program provides a unique combination of classroom instruction and field experience. Over the course of the year, Organizers will receive eight weeks of classroom training, run three to five campaigns throughout the year, and run a grassroots canvass office. This position starts in 2025 and does not require any previous organizing experience.

Environmental Data Management Intern
Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Data Management Intern in our Fresno, CA or Sacramento, CA office. The position offers the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world situations through environmental data management for a variety of technical practices including, contaminated site investigation, human health risk assessment, subsurface remediation, water resources, and geotechnical engineering. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) for approximately 13 to 15 weeks during the summer of 2025. There is no current deadline for this position.

This individual will play a key role in supporting project managers both as a field representative and as an office professional for environmental and remediation projects in the San Francisco Bay area. CalPortland is seeking a summer intern for the Corporate Environmental Group. This internship is ideal for a student interested in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Compliance, and Permitting/Sustainability. This position will involve assisting with Cement Plant environmental compliance as needed. This may include preparation of reports required by environmental permits to state, local, or federal agencies, compliance inspections, etc. There is no current deadline for this position.

Intern Environmental Services - GIS and Utility Operations
Paid intern positions are available within the Environmental Services Department. The positions are an excellent part-time opportunity for an individual with GIS skills wishing to obtain work experience in the Environmental Studies field. The selected candidate will work under supervision on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. However, Casual non-benefited employees are limited to working no more than twenty-five (25) hours per week and no more than 900 hours in a fiscal year (July 1-June 30).
