Bio
Research Interest: Digital Health, Technology and Civilization, Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
Dr. Tehrani is an SME/Mentor at Plug and Play Tech Center and former Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Alliances at DynoSense Corp. Before DynoSense; he managed Savitron, Inc., which provided engineering and consulting services. Before Savitron, he was the global director of program management at Sanmina-SCI Corporation (a leading EMS provider with operations in 45 countries). He has earned his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Northcentral University, holds an MBA with a specialization in Executive Management from Pepperdine University, MS in Engineering Management from ITU, and a BS in Electrical Engineering and has over 20 years of teaching experience as a lecturer and professor at various universities in the San Francisco Bay Area. He also has over ten years of experience advising and mentoring university graduate students. He has taught management, marketing, business, and engineering courses in Finland, China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, and Chile, trained other faculty members for five years, wrote two textbooks used in MBA classes, created six accredited online university courses, and wrote articles for over 50 peer-reviewed journals. He has leveraged his teaching and international experience to mentor high-tech firm employees to outpace business development goals.
