In the last semester of your program, you should expect to receive communication about how to file for your preliminary credential from the Lurie College of Education Credential Services Office as well as information about graduation and commencement from the University. 

Applying for your Preliminary Credential
The Credential Services Office provides step-by-step instructions on how to file for your credential.  Once all requirements are completed, you may submit your credential application to Credential Services for processing. 

Graduation & Commencement
If you have not received information about graduation and commencement from the University by mid-semester, reach out to the teacher education department to make sure you are included in the event.
