Finances & Scholarships
Studying abroad promotes greater marketability and employment opportunities, but also allows you to become interconnected with rich cultures and history. Going on an international program is an investment in yourself as well as a great adventure!
A key concern for many students and families is the cost associated with studying abroad. However, for many programs, students pay their same SJSU tuition and fees. Depending on the country of study, other costs such as meals and accommodations can be comparable to the Bay Area or cheaper; some students have actually saved money by studying abroad. The key to being successful is to plan ahead. Check out the resources below to see what you can do to make your dream of international travel an affordable reality!
