SJSU 2022 - 2023 Outstanding Staff of the Year Award

Nha-Nghi Nguyen, Psychology

Nha-Nghi Nguyen is no stranger to education, having spent years working in different levels of education, serving on the California State PTA Board of Managers in many different capacities advocating equity in education and diversity. She is an active volunteer in her community and has held many positions supporting children and adults in their education and health. Nha-Nghi is passionate and believes that everyone deserves to have the best education possible in a healthy environment to achieve a successful life. She currently enjoys her work at San Jose State University.

CoSS Staff Excellence Service Award

The Staff Excellence Service Award is presented to a College of Social Sciences staff member who exemplifies the highest traditions of service. It is given in recognition of a particular outstanding service accomplishment or a record of sustained and excellent service to students, faculty, and staff members, departments, the College of Social Sciences, SJSU, or the community.
