Terri Ramirez

Terri Ramirez joined the Dean’s office team in November, 2021.  Prior to this position, Terri was Director of Business Operations for the Facilities Development & Operations (FD&O) at Cal State East Bay (CSUEB).  Her responsibilities included staff management and development, oversight of the department CMMS Work Control system, budget development and administration, procurement, HR, and Payroll processes.  

Terri began her career in the California State University system in 2007 working for SJSU’s FD&O department as the Integrated Waste Management, Recycling and Moving Services Specialist.  In 2013, Terri joined CSUEB as the Logistics Services Specialist where she planned and coordinated furniture installations, event setups, moving services, and campus fleet reporting for the California State Department of General Services.  Terri became the Custodial Manager at CSUEB in 2017, managing a crew of 60+ Custodial professionals servicing the entire campus, then moved to the Director of Business Operations position in 2019.  

Growing up in San Jose and Milpitas, Terri is a Bay Area native and currently resides in Morgan Hill, CA.  Terri and her husband Michael have two grown sons Joseph and Daniel. Michael is a musician and also works as a Quality Manager, and they spend their weekends visiting local wineries, attending Michael’s and other musician friends’ performances, visiting with friends and family, and playing with their two golden retrievers Jax and Paisley.  Terri is extremely happy to return to SJSU.
