San José State University’s student media outlets have received top national and statewide awards from two of college media’s most distinguished organizations — the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP) and the California College Media Association (CCMA).

Breaking News: Spartan Daily Wins Two National and Nine Statewide Awards

For the second consecutive year, San José State University’s Spartan Daily was awarded second place nationwide for Best Newspaper among four-year daily newspapers at the Associated Collegiate Press Best of Show awards. The organization’s 35th Annual National College Journalism Convention was held at the Hyatt Regency hotel in La Jolla this weekend. The Daily also secured the fourth place for Best Special Section in the national contest.
