Sustainable Futures

Given that the current state of both the nation and the state of California, the question of what a sustainable future looks like is one we all must face, and that the arts, design and humanities are some of the best avenues to explore.

Again, during this academic year, we have a number of engaging, community-oriented workshops, performances, talks, and art exhibits that address NFTs, poetry as performance, life of water, and food insecurity.

Faculty Opportunities

After the success of Pandemic Pandemonium, we are hosting an annual Curricular Communities opportunity for faculty to create original, robust assignments to submit for an honorarium. Read more about the Sustainable Futures Curricular Community.

Each year, we invite faculty to create, plan, implement, and execute events and public programming based on the college themes. Check out the Artistic Excellence Programming Grants (AEPG) - due each Spring.
