Extreme Fire Research
San José State University's Fire Weather Research Laboratory conducts research on fire behavior and how weather leads to extreme fire danger.
Under the direction of Dr. Craig Clements, the Fire Weather Research Laboratory is staffed by undergraduate, graduate, and faculty members of San José State University. The lab's goal is to better understand wildland fire behavior by studying fire-atmospheric interactions. The lab provides the fire modeling community datasets for model evaluation and development.
