MOSAIC Open Mics

On the first Thursday of every month, join in as students and Spartan community members share their talents in this open mic space through spoken word, poetry, song, instrument, stand up, etc. This is a great space and time to support our Spartan talent and local performers!

Roses through Concrete

This programming series, largely created by Cultural Programmers, promotes, explores and celebrates culture. The intention behind this series is for participants to engage in self-identity work and social justice issues on campus and within society. We offer cultural programs that include live performances, workshops and presentations.

Leadership Today Retreat

The Leadership Today Retreat (LTR) is a weekend residential program that provides students, faculty and staff interactive activities and thought-provoking discussions about leadership theory, cross cultural issues and social justice frameworks. The LTR was developed to build a more understanding and open community that harnesses the power of coalitions through leadership efforts. The LTR provides an opportunity for honest dialogue about issues related to leadership, diversity, and how social justice shows up as we work to build the next generation of engaging leaders. For more information, go to the Leadership Today web page.

Mosaic Station

The MOSAIC Station podcast is created by MOSAIC’s Faculty Fellows and Cultural Programmers to agitate and activate for a more just society and world. We are excited to bring the San Jose State University campus a student-centered podcast operating out of the MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center. Our goal/passion is talking about issues that affect us as students and as young people in this complicated world we live in! For links to recent episodes, go to the MOSAIC Station web page.
