Becky Field
Becky Field is a designer at New Balance, a global athletic company. She started her career with New Balance as an intern in the Design Foundry Program assisting the Women's and Walking Teams. Immediately after her internship she was hired as an Associate Footwear Designer for the Kid's Team. She is currently the Color Designer for the Kid’s Team and is responsible for setting color, material and trend direction for the kid's product line each season. Prior to New Balance, Becky worked as a design contractor for exodesign and as an intern at a fashion tech start up.
While a student at San José State University (Class of 2012) Becky was highly involved in the Industrial Design Program, serving as a Student Assistant to the program as well as the Secretary of the SJSU IDSA student chapter. She participated in many student design collaborations with various schools and companies. Her work was exhibited at the Milan Furniture Faire, the International Contemporary Furniture Faire, NeoCon East, Design Philadelphia, and The National Centre for Craft & Design.
When not thinking about shoes, Becky likes to spend her time exploring Boston, training for half marathons and other running events, as well as traveling to new places.
