Dr. Jill Citron is a faculty member in the Psychology Department at SJSU. She earned her M.A. and Ph.D. in biopsychology and behavioral neuroscience at the University of Connecticut. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University at the Center for the Psychology of Abilities, Competencies, and Expertise. She teaches advanced research methods, drugs, brain and behavior, and neuroscience courses. Dr. Citron’s research addresses the impact of hormones on daily functioning, belongingness, and social affiliation. Another area of interest is the field of neuroinformatics, which involves the science and engineering of brain data.
