Psychology major advisors generally provide guidance with:
- Adding a major or minor in Psychology
- Reviewing progress toward Psychology major degree requirements
- Reviewing non-SJSU psychology courses for fulfillment of Psychology major/minor requirements
***NOTE: Psychology major advisors DO NOT provide General Education (GE) advising or guidance about courses outside of Psychology.
To get help regarding your general SJSU graduation requirements (e.g., lower division GE, SJSU studies, etc.), visit the College of Social Sciences – Student Success Center.
HOW TO GET ADVISING:
1. Meet In-Person or Online (via Zoom) with a Psychology Major Advisor
To meet with an advisor, scroll down to see their availability and use the links by their name to make an in-person or online Zoom appointment. You may also visit during their drop-in hours without an appointment.
***NOTE: Appointments are made via Spartan Connect. If you have not used Spartan Connect before, see this Spartan Connect Tutorial (requires an SJSU email; the appointment confirmation will provide the zoom link if online)
