Presentations and Conferences

Dive deeper into the field of psychology by attending research talks!

Psych Forum

Psych Forum is a monthly talk series aimed at exposing undergraduates to psychological research. Researchers, including SJSU faculty and master's students, along with outside speakers, are invited to present on their work and answer questions during these hour-long talks.

This November, we have one of our faculty, Dr. Desiree Ryan, giving a talk on Student Experiences of Food and Housing Insecurity and Catalysts to Seeking Assistance.

Kazdin Lecture

2024-Kazdin-Lecture

This annual lecture is supported by an endowment from Alan E. Kazdin, PhD in grateful acknowledgement of the impact that the faculty in Psychology has had on his career and no doubt on the careers of many others. Kazdin is Sterling Professor of Psychology and Child Psychiatry at Yale University and an alumnus of the SJSU Psychology Department (1967).

Plans this year are currently in development.
