Dr. Nick Compin is the Chief of the Office of Safety Planning in Caltrans’ Headquarters Division of Transportation Planning. He is involved in numerous national research efforts and standing committees. Nick is also an adjunct professor for the Mineta Transportation Institute at SJSU. He holds a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from the UC Irvine.
