HonorsX provides foundational experiences in practical problem-solving and teamwork necessary for you to positively impact today's interconnected world.
What to Expect?
- You will have the opportunity to earn a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies to extend your learning from HonorsX.
- As an HonorsX student, you are part of a cohort, entering at the same time and remaining together for fall and spring semesters to solve problems of your interest.
- You will work in teams and draw from diverse perspectives, to research real problems and propose solutions that impact your communities and the world.
- You’ll learn through hands-on experiences inside and outside the classroom with faculty experts outside your major and with industry thought leaders, and HonorsX peer mentors.
Exposure to historical and relevant cultural topics, political and
economic impacts, and human and natural disasters. Having guest
speakers who are writers, experienced researchers, educators, and
