About Us

Established in 2009, the Global Leadership Advancement Center (GLAC) is a research and training institute located in the Lucas College and Graduate School of Business at San José State University, California. GLAC is funded by the generous support of Donald and Sally Lucas and staffed by well-known researchers and educators and housed in the School of Global Leadership.

To advance and disseminate global leadership knowledge and best practices to students, working professionals and educators.

SJSU is known for producing knowledgeable and prepared global leaders. Students and researchers can enhance their learning through GLAC’s extensive research, professional development, and social innovation initiatives. 

While the need for experienced and innovative leaders is urgent in all areas of global business, SJSU is one of the few universities world-wide to offer extensive cutting-edge global leadership courses, and programs to undergraduates, graduate students, and executives.
