• Admission Requirements

  • For Chemical Engineering MS

    A BS degree in Chemical Engineering

    3.0 Grade Point Average in the last 60 units in your BS program

    Notes:

    GRE is not required.

    If your undergraduate engineering major is not in Chemical Engineering (for ChE MS), you can be considered for a conditional admission, which will require completion of some additional courses, depending on the previous course work.

    If you are a graduate of a foreign institution, you must satisfy the SJSU English Proficiency Requirement 

    If you have a GPA between 2.7 and 3.0, you can be considered for a conditional admission.

    Letters of recommendation are not required.

    Personal statement is not required, but strongly encouraged.
