Advising

Advising is mandatory for all College of Engineering majors, and required every semester. An advising hold is put so the student has to consult with the department’s major advisor in order to enroll in classes.

To remove the advising hold, students can either meet with their assigned major advisor during the advisor's posted office hours, or enter their academic advising information online.

For students on major probation, they need to see the undergraduate coordinator for advising and removing the advising hold.

Students are encouraged to contact their major advisor for any questions or concerns about their major requirements.
