San José State University welcomes all students regardless of immigration status! If you are undocumented and considering applying to SJSU, there are a few things you should keep in mind as you are navigating the CSU admissions application, financial aid, and the new student enrollment process. In this page you will find general information and resources to support undocumented students who are applying to SJSU. 

The priority filing period for CSU admissions is October 1 - November 30. Visit Cal State Apply​ for up-to-date information.

Paying for College

There are many resources available for undocumented students to make college affordable. Undocumented students may be eligible to pay the in-state tuition rate and obtain state and university aid by demonstrating time living and attending school in California. UndocuSpartan Office Hours for New Students

Undocumented students that have accepted their intent to enroll can schedule an appointment with a USRC for 1:1 support. Visit our contact page to schedule an appointment or reach out to via email with any additional questions.

UndocuSpartan Summer Academy

Undergraduates that have been accepted to SJSU for Fall 2023 may apply to be part of our  UndocuSpartan Summer Academy! This year's program will take place in-person (and overnight) during the week of July 18th-22nd. Visit our UndocuSpartan Summer Academy page for more information.
