Bio
Dr. Lisa Rauch DNP, APHN-BC, RN is currently teaching in The Valley Foundation School of Nursing. As an Assistant Professor and clinical instructor, my teaching expertise is focused in Community Health/ Public Health and School Nursing. I have been an instructor for the last 12 years teaching clinical practicum, professional role development, nursing theory, and nursing curriculum in both the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. In addition to my teaching role, as an active faculty member, I currently serve in the Co-Curriculum Coordinator role and Compliance Coordinator role and on the Faculty Affairs Committee with a focus on Professional Development. I currently serve on the National Honor Society of Nursing - Sigma Theta Tau International (Alpha Gamma Chapter) board as secretary and also serve on the School Nurses of Santa Clara County board. I am passionate about nursing education, health promotion and prevention and the contribution made through nursing to the community at large.
