Bio
I have been at San Jose State for over 23 years, specializing in developing, implementing and administering large-scale instructional and public outreach programs at the University and in the greater San Jose area. I am involved in international education as well, and run an annual program to France for students from all majors at San Jose State. Other areas of interest in teaching and research include ecology, evolutionary biology, conservation, and biodiversity stewardship with a range of students, including K-12, undergraduate, graduate, and in-service teachers. My research program has taken me all around the world, with a particular emphasis on the lemurs of Madagascar.
