Bio
Cathleen Miller is a Fulbright Scholar who served as the Distinguished Chair of the Humanities at the University of Manchester 2018-19. She serves as editor-in-chief of Reed Magazine, founded on the SJSU campus in 1867, making it the oldest literary journal in the West.
Professor Miller teaches in the MFA program where she offers courses in her specialty, creative nonfiction. Champion of Choice, a biography she wrote about UN leader Nafis Sadik, was named one of Booklist's Top 10 Biographies for 2013. Cathleen Miller's work has been translated into 55 languages and adapted for film.
