                        Deluxe rooms               $147

                        Premium                       $157

                        Executive Fireplace       $167

The Walnut Creek Marriott is the other hotel with all rooms available single or double occupancy for $89 per room. Please call the Marriott at 925-927-1107 and ask for Vanessa.  She is keeping the records for the WECSOR conference rate.

Transportation

Travel by Air:

The Oakland Airport is the most convenient airport.  Upon arrival, go to the Bay Porter desk and take their shuttle bus to either hotel.  Alternatively, take a bus to BART from the airport.  Take the train going north towards Richmond or San Francisco. Transfer to the Bay Point train in Oakland and get off at the stop just 3 blocks from the Marriott Hotel in Walnut Creek. Pick up white courtesy phone  or call the courtesy desk at 925-283-3700 at the Lafayette Park Hotel and Spa for a pick-up from the Lafayette BART station.

Travel By Car:

From Walnut Creek, Traveling West on the 24 Fwy. Exit at the Central Lafayette Exit. You will come to a traffic light; this is Deer Hill Road. Turn right. Then, make the first right turn at First Street, which will take you under the Fwy overpass. Get into the right lane. First Street ends at Mount Diablo Road (the second traffic light). Make a right on Mount Diablo Road, but get immediately into the far left lane. Make the next possible left turn (at the traffic light), which puts you on Moraga Road. Turn left onto Saint Mary's Road about ½ mile later. (Watch for the signs all along that indicate the direction to Saint Mary's College.)  You will come to a fork in the road at a stop sign, bear right, staying on Saint Mary's Road.  From there it is three miles to Saint Mary's College.  You will go through three more stop signs. Turn left to enter the Saint Mary's College campus. If you need directions on campus, go to the information booth at the end of the entryway.

From Oakland/San Francisco, Traveling East on the 24 Freeway exit at the Moraga/Orinda Exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right. Within a couple of blocks that road will become Moraga Way. Go straight until you get to the Town of Moraga where you will see shopping centers on both sides of the road. (Watch for the signs all along that indicate the direction to Saint Mary's College.)  At the main intersection, you will turn left onto Moraga Road. Go about a quarter of a mile and turn right onto Saint Mary's Road.  Not far up that road, you will see Saint Mary's College on your right. Turn right to enter the  Saint Mary's College.   If you need directions on campus, go to the information booth at the end of the entryway.

NOTE:  If you are coming from the San Jose area, it is better to take the 680 Freeway North to Walnut Creek and then follow the directions from Walnut Creek to Saint Mary's College, than to go through Oakland.
