Mentor Students

Make a difference in a Spartan’s life by volunteering as a mentor, panelist, or speaker through SJSU², the University’s campus mentoring platform.

Mentoring Opportunities with SJSU²

With SJSU², you can engage with students and recent alumni in 3 primary ways:

(1) Professional Mentoring & Meetups (PMM) Program

Apply to be matched with a student mentee based on your professional experience and their career interests. Meet with your mentee at least 3 times/semester (30 min each) to help them achieve specific professional-development goals.

Mentor applications are open two times per year: July/August for Fall Semester and January for Spring Semester.

(2) Community

Post your professional profile to connect with students and recent alumni for one-time, informational interviews (15-30 min). Students reach out via SJSU² to request connections and schedule.

This platform is open year-round. Click the link below to create a profile on the SJSU2 platform and start engaging with SJSU students.
