Physical Modification of University Lecture Room

Renovation or physical modification of any University Lecture Room requires written authorization, in advance, from the Office of Undergraduate Education. Such modifications include, but are not limited to, items such as installing omni-locks on doors, placing locks on installed storage cabinets, and installing fixed furniture, fixtures, or equipment. Renovation activities that are proposed to be funded by departments or colleges are certainly appreciated and welcomed. Such requests, however, must follow proper authorization channels and do not alter the room's status as a University Lecture Room, its inclusion in the lecture classroom inventory, or its availability to the Academic Scheduling Office for use by departments and users other than the department funding the renovation activity.
